On Tuesday, December 8, 2020, the Council for Inclusive Capitalism (CIC) formed a partnership with the Vatican. The CIC is an international collaboration involving many of the worlds business leaders. They have made this alliance with the Vatican to respond to “the challenge by Pope Francis to build inclusive and sustainable economies and societies.” The Bible tells us that the merchants of the earth will wax rich through the abundance of the delicacies of Babylon the Great (the Papacy). These alliances are a direct fulfilment of Bible prophecy.
The CIC has twenty-seven core members known as the ‘Guardians of Inclusive Capitalism.’ Included in this group are Brian Moynihan (Bank of America CEO), Alex Gorsky (Johnson & Johnson CEO), Marc Benioff (Salesforce CEO), Ajay Banga (Mastercard CEO), Alfred Kelly (Visa CEO), Fiona Ma (California State Treasurer), Rajiv Shah (The Rockefeller Foundation President), Mark Carney (UN Finance Adviser to the Prime Minister, COP26 and Special Envoy for Climate Action and Finance), and many others. Collectively the CIC has over $10.5 trillion in assets under management, $2.1 trillion in market capitalization, represents over 200 million workers, and has offices in over 163 different countries and territories.
Managing climate change and promoting social equality are the primary focuses of the CIC. To join this alliance “business leaders must commit to measurable steps to create a more equitable and fair economic system, including adherence to the UN’s sustainable development goals.” They must also “take steps toward ending poverty, providing access to clear water, and reducing income inequality.” With such a foundation, union with the Vatican was a foreseeable event. Pope Francis has made climate change and social justice the key focus of his latest encyclicals and campaigns, as we will see.
This union of the world’s leading businessmen with the Papacy was previously foretold in God’s word.
For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. Revelation 18:3
This collaboration claims, “This Council will follow the warning from Pope Francis to listen to ‘the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor’ and answer society’s demands for a more equitable and sustainable model of growth.” However, although this collaboration claims to be for the betterment of nature and the poor, the Bible shows us that this is not the case. Instead, we are told that these merchants aim to become rich through their allegiance with Babylon. They also claim to be “under the moral guidance” of Pope Francis, giving him an authoritative role in the decisions made within this alliance, especially in regard to determining what comprises the ‘common good’.
In ‘Fratelli Tutti’, Pope Francis’ latest encyclical, he essentially outlined the tenants of Catholic social doctrine, calling the world’s businessmen, political leaders, and influential people to join together for the promotion of the ‘common good’ for all peoples and the planet. This encyclical was a call for solidarity and a new world order focussed on fraternity and elevating the ‘common good’ above any individual right to freedoms or even property. He even goes so far as to say that individual freedoms can be a source of great evil.
“The human person, with his or her inalienable rights, is by nature open to relationship. Implanted deep within us is the call to transcend ourselves through an encounter with others. For this reason, “care must be taken not to fall into certain errors which can arise from a misunderstanding of the concept of human rights and from its misuse. Today there is a tendency to claim ever broader individual – I am tempted to say individualistic – rights. Underlying this is a conception of the human person as detached from all social and anthropological contexts, as if the person were a “monad” (monás), increasingly unconcerned with others… Unless the rights of each individual are harmoniously ordered to the greater good, those rights will end up being considered limitless and consequently will become a source of conflicts and violence”. Pope Francis, Fratelli Tutti
“The principle of the common use of created goods is the “first principle of the whole ethical and social order”; it is a natural and inherent right that takes priority over others.” Pope Francis, Fratelli Tutti
His prior encyclical, ‘Laudato Si’, focussed on our need to take care of our common home by taking action against climate change. Embedded within ‘Laudato Si’ was a call for Sunday observance as a key requirement in promoting a sustainable future.
“And so the day of rest, centred on the Eucharist, sheds it light on the whole week, and motivates us to greater concern for nature and the poor.” Pope Francis, Laudato Si
What happens when Sunday rest, and ultimately worship, are deemed to be for the ‘common good’? What will then happen to our individual freedoms to live and worship according to the dictates of our own conscience? The time is soon coming that Sunday laws will be enforced globally. This is the mark of the beast (click here to learn more). It will be under the guise of the ‘common good’ that such legislation will be passed and generally agreed upon.
The union of the Vatican with many of the world’s leading businessmen and their mega-corporations is a concern for those who believe in freedom. This reality is made clearer when we understand that the CIC runs off the principles of the World Economic Forum (WEF). From the CIC website we can read:
“Council members make actionable commitments aligned with the World Economic Forum International Business Council’s Pillars for sustainable value creation—People, Planet, Principles of Governance, and Prosperity—and that advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.”
The WEF has an initiative called ‘The Great Reset.’ Recently they released a video that revealed many of their goals for the future. Its leading remark was that “you’ll own nothing, and you’ll be happy.” Of course, we should expect that this only applies to the average person, not these business leaders. If we do not own anything, then who does? There must be someone who controls and manages this wealth. The video continues to say, “whatever you want you’ll rent.” Again, who are we renting from? How do we know that we are guaranteed to receive what we ask for? What rules and restrictions or expectations will we need to meet to be eligible to rent our goods? What if we are not acting in the way that they believe is for the ‘common good,’ will we still be treated as equally deserving?
The Bible warns us of a time when those who refuse to worship the beast and its image will not be allowed to buy and sell. What happens when the leading businessmen of the world unite with the beast? Can we expect to see the Pope’s ideals as laid out in both ‘Laudato Si’ and ‘Fratelli Tutti’ become a reality, to the extent of the enforcement of Sunday laws? The Bible tells us that this is exactly what we should expect to see happen from here. The net worth of these corporations within the CIC is in the trillions, their influence over the world economy is phenomenal. If these giant monopolies refuse to allow us to access their services while we are not acting in compliance with the common good, then we will need to make the choice to comply or suffer.
“The work of the people of God is to prepare for the events of the future, which will soon come upon them with blinding force. In the world gigantic monopolies will be formed. Men will bind themselves together in unions that will wrap them in the folds of the enemy. A few men will combine to grasp all the means to be obtained in certain lines of business. Trades unions will be formed, and those who refuse to join these unions will be marked men....” Maranatha, p182.
Thankfully, God has also revealed to us what the outcome of these satanic unions will be.
And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: Revelation 18:9-11
The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, and saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, and cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate. Revelation 18:15-19
God will bring justice to the world. These giant corporations and underhanded agendas will be brought to naught. Although we must face the events to come, we have the guarantee that God will be with us through it. God does not leave us helpless but strengthens us to weather the storm.
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. Matthew 10:22
And, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:20
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. Psalm 91:15-16
The union of the merchants and kings of the earth with the Catholic Church (Babylon) is a fulfilment of prophecy. It is yet another sign of the times in which we are living. Now is the day of our salvation, now is the time that we must choose whether we will stand with God or the beast. There is no time to delay. Christ stands waiting to save all who come to Him by faith.
